System Change and Innovation Programme

As part of Fairer Together and the Young Black Men and Mental Health Programme, Islington Council are launching a System Change and Innovation Programme, to roll out cultural competency practice training across the borough.

• The system change and innovation programme is a pioneering and multi professional programme designed to embed diversity, and inclusion, by facilitating a greater understanding around anti-racist and inclusive leadership and cultural competence at an institutional / system level. 

• The programme has been carefully curated to create work streams that are designed as a suite to support, challenge and provide platforms for courageous conversations to create more inclusive and culturally competent fairer workplaces, actively contributing to fairer communities. 

The programme will include a number of events, workshops and conferences across the coming months.
