Self Care Week

Self-care week is an annual, national awareness week that focuses on embedding support for self-care across communities, families and generations. Celebrate this year from 13th - 19th November. The theme for 2023 is “Mind & Body”. Self-care is focusing on things that you can partly control, such as eating a nutritious diet, moving your body, getting vaccinations or attending routine GP checks.

The ‘mind’ theme of self-care week highlights how you can support mental wellness, by staying connected with others, ensuring a sense of perspective and taking further steps to maintain health. This short film produced by stem4, highlights this well. You can also find your little big thing with your personalised mind plan and top tips.

Action for Happiness produce this calendar, suggesting something different you can do each day to help you feel happier and inspired! You can also download their app for free and sign up to receive an inspiring message (and more) every day!
