Mindfulness outdoors with The Stress Project

Practising outdoor mindfulness can help you be in the present, where you can observe your thoughts and feelings without pursuing them and without judgment. You can learn to observe your thoughts and try not to follow them or get caught up in them.

The calming effects of nature can help you reduce stress and feel more relaxed. Meditating outdoors creates a sense of connection to the Earth and the universe around you, which can generate feelings of peace and harmony.

Join The Stress Project for this relaxing event at Islington Ecology Centre. We will be both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather, so dress warmly enough and in shoes that might tred through a little bit of mud. Getting outside in beautiful Gillespie Park, the biggest nature reserve in Islington, will add a wonderful dose of nature health to your day!

Turn up for 2.50pm for a 3pm start.
