o   iMax will showcase its free benefits calculator, helping users quickly identify benefit entitlements and Cost of Living support.

o   The new Household Support Fund for carers

o   The impact of residents facing a 53 week rent year, requiring them having to make an extra weeks rent payment to avoid going into debt.

Islington SHINE provides advice on fuel debt, energy efficiency, and access to fuel bill discounts and grants for new boilers.

They will explain how to:

• How to access their service which is available to any Islington resident struggling to heat their home, with free support for those over 60, on a low income, with a disability/long-term illness, or with children.

• Get one of their advisors to conduct a thorough assessment and assist with debt, and potentially access debt relief payments of up to £300.

• They can provide food bank vouchers, information on food providers, and fuel/energy vouchers for eligible council tenants.

• Book an appointment with one of their "Energy doctors" who will visit homes to improve energy efficiency.
