Representatives from the community and cultural sector are invited to join for two planning meetings, to shape the content of the event, to draw upon your insight, expertise, and connections with culture in Islington and local people. These will take place on: 

• Wednesday 24 January 2024, 11am-12pm (In person at Town Hall /online hybrid) 

• Wednesday 21 February 2024, 10am-11am (In person at Town Hall /online hybrid) 

If you are willing and able to join the planning meetings, please RSVP to Laura culture@islington.gov.uk by Wednesday 10 January (Reminder/meeting invitations will be sent in the new year).

Islington Council are looking for community groups and other performers to be part of the launch event. If you have a group of local people of any age that you think would like to perform at the event, or individuals who would like to share the benefit culture and creativity have had in their lives in some way, please reach out by Friday 19 January
