“Free to Be Me”: A Panel Discussion to Celebrate South Asian Heritage Month in Islington

Join colleagues and residents on Tuesday 30 July at 5.30pm, alongside the Mayor of Islington, Cllr Anjna Khurana, to mark South Asian Heritage Month with an in person panel discussion on the theme for this year which is ‘Free to be Me’.

This event aims to celebrate the diversity of South Asian experiences and heritage, sharing similarities and honouring differences, and crucially, celebrating the enormous contributions of the South Asian community in Islington. Joining the Mayor on the panel will be South Asian councillors, and leaders of partner organisations. 

This event is free to attend, but you must register for a ticket as seats are limited.
