Opportunities through the King’s Trust in Islington:

Get Into: 16-30 years old. Work placements that develop young people's skills, give them experience in a specific sector and support them into jobs with our delivery partners at the end of the programme. Courses include: Get Into Railway with Network Rail, Get Into Aviation with British Airways, Get Into Retail and Hospitality with M&S, and many more.

Get Started16-30 years old. Short courses that give young people a taster of an industry through themes such as sports or the arts and support them into further education, training, or employment. Courses include: Get Started in Fashion with the V&A Museum, Get Started in Film and Photography, Get Started with Games Design, and Get Started in Radio. 

Enterprise: 18-30 years old.  With expert-led workshops, one-to-one support, and opportunities to apply for funding, we provide the tools you need to create a strong business plan and launch a successful business.

Explore:16-25 years old. An individually tailored personal development programme combining one-to-one support and group activities, delivered by dedicated staff. Includes money management training, tours of corporate organisations, workshops with partner organisations, and CV and interview support.

Get Hired  Supports young people to secure their dream job. Over two days, we empower them with the skills to shine in interviews, giving them that competitive edge. Then, they will  interview for live job opportunities of their choosing with top employers sourced by the King's Trust.

Development Awards:16-30 years old. Cash awards (up to £500) to help young people tackle financial barriers that may be preventing them from accessing education, training, and employment purposes. 

Health & Social Care:16-30 years oldA five day programme focusing on  upskilling and preparing for working in the Health and Social Care Sector, gaining sector-based knowledge, interview practice and preparation, and culminating in an Opportunities Day with employers from the NHS.

 Team: 16- 25 years old .A 12-week personal development programme, run and managed by over 100 partner organisations throughout the UK.
