Car Free Day Grants

Islington Council is providing grants to businesses, residents, and community groups to celebrate World Car Free Day on September 22!

 As part of the council’s efforts to create greener, healthier streets, we’re providing small grants to support businesses - especially those within our low-traffic neighbourhoods – to run community events. 

These events will highlight the benefits of walking, cycling, and wheeling, bring people together, and encourage local spending. The grants are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
